For the second consecutive year, The Chamberlain Group, Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of garage door openers and accessories, received the “Best In Show” Award for their trade show booth at the 2005 Fencetech Trade Show.
Fencetech ’05, held January 19-21 in New Orleans, featured 390 exhibitors from the U.S. and Canada displaying gate operators, security systems, gate and fencing materials, and related equipment.
Chamberlain’s booth was designed and fabricated by MICE DisplayWorks of Irvine, Calif. Marketing Support Inc., Chamberlain’s agency of record, developed the graphics with Ron Mudge and Tina Stallone from Chamberlain. The entire look of the booth was created to reflect a synergy among Chamberlain’s professional brands: Elite™, LiftMaster®, and Sentex®.
“We are delighted to win this prestigious award,” said Ken Roehl, vice president of marketing, Chamberlain Professional Products. “Our design team created a booth that reflects the extensive range of products from Chamberlain Professional Products, and this booth is a testament to their hard work, creativity, and determination.”
The booth is 20 feet wide by 90 feet long, and features multi-faceted display areas showcasing accessories and products such as gate operators, telephone entry systems, and door openers from LiftMaster, Elite, and Sentex. The booth was designed to be more interactive for visitors, with an actual working gate and the Miracle One gate operator and Crown Jewel Telephone Entry System on display. In addition, a presentation of the inner mechanisms of a gate operator, such as the motor and control board were also featured.
The new products displayed for telephone entry systems were the EL25, and the EWC485 Wireless Communicator. For gates, operators, Chamberlain showcased many product enhancements including the built in radio receivers, new heaters and mounting post options now available. The booth also featured a variety of DC Solutions’ products. DC Solutions was acquired by Chamberlain in January 2005.
The “Best In Show” award is presented by the American Fence Association (AFA) to one exhibitor in two categories: small booth size and multi/large booth size. Chamberlain won the award for the multi/large booth size. |
