For the third consecutive year, The Chamberlain Group, Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer of garage door openers and accessories, received the “Best In Show” Award for their trade show booth at the 2006 Fencetech Trade Show.

Fencetech ’06, held February 1 - 3 in Las Vegas, featured 8,540 registered attendees, and more than 425 exhibitors from the U.S. and Canada displaying gate operators, security systems, gate and fencing materials, and related equipment.  

Chamberlain’s booth was designed and fabricated by MICE DisplayWorks of Irvine, Calif.  Chamberlain’s in-house graphic design department developed the graphics. The entire look of the booth was created to reflect a synergy among Chamberlain’s professional brands:  Elite™, LiftMaster®, and Sentex®.

The booth is 40 feet wide by 70 feet long, and features multi-faceted display areas showcasing accessories and products such as gate operators, telephone entry systems, and door openers from LiftMaster, Elite, and Sentex. The booth was designed to be more interactive for visitors, with actual working commercial and residential gate operators and telephone entry systems. In order to demonstrate the full line of home access products available from Chamberlain, a portion of the booth was dedicated to LiftMaster residential garage door openers and radio control products. 

The new products displayed for telephone entry systems were the EL25, and the EWC485 Wireless Communicator. For gates and operators, Chamberlain showcased many product enhancements, including the built in radio receivers, new heaters and mounting post options, and the new LA400 linear actuator gate operator.

The “Best In Show” award is presented by the American Fence Association (AFA) to one exhibitor in two categories:  small booth size and multi/large booth size.  Chamberlain won the award for the multi/large booth size.
