Duchossois Industries, Inc. (DII) announced today that it has acquired DESA's Heath® Zenith division, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, as a part of its ongoing global growth initiative. The acquisition will expand DII's position in the consumer products market and complement its ownership of The Chamberlain Group, Inc. (Chamberlain), a leading supplier of access control products. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

"Heath® Zenith's customer-focused approach has led to industry leadership in each of its key product categories."
Heath® Zenith offers a broad selection of specialty electrical products such as motion-activated lighting, door chimes, and wireless lighting controls sold in over 10,000 retail outlets worldwide including home centers, hardware stores, wholesale clubs and mass merchants.
