Chamberlain Professional Products introduces the new Elite™ EL2000 telephone entry system. This powerful yet versatile system is the latest addition to the Chamberlain line of telephone entry systems products, engineered for gated communities, apartment buildings, condo complexes, office parks, and commercial sites.
The EL2000 system accepts up to 2,000 totally flexible directory or access codes and features a backlit 5 inch LCD screen with the ability to display up to 4 lines with 20 characters per line making the EL2000 ideal for virtually any installation. Unlike other systems, the EL2000 can be ordered as a base unit or with optional Wiegand or RF plug-in modules. This allows you to choose only the plug-in modules needed as required by the job, enabling custom solutions right off the shelf without special orders.

Intelligent features for greater flexibility and simplified installation include four built-in relays designed to activate doors and gates. These relays can be set to function as strike, shunt, alarm, or CCTV. The entire system may be set up and maintained remotely via a modem featuring versatile Versa XS™ 2.0 access control programming software. For simpler installation, the unit can also be programmed directly through the main keypad utilizing the LCD screen. Designed to be tough, dependable, and vandal-resistant, its impressive styling will complement even the most upscale properties with availability in black, nickel, and gray.
Exclusive features on the EL2000 are ADA compliant voice prompts to guide installers through the system setup at the unit’s main keypad and provide assistance to end users with the push of a button. The EL2000 will retain unit alarms including over or under voltage alarms for simplified troubleshooting. Card and Passport™ transmitters can be scan programmed by utilizing the card reader or radio receiver installed into one of the plug-in modules while enhanced noise line tolerance battles older telephone company equipment interference. Replacing an existing Sentex brand TES system is simple with Versa XS software that can transfer existing database information with the click of a mouse.
Other options available are plug-in adaptability allowing for expansion of the EL2000 to work with many different types of controls. Optional Passport™ remote controls provide one-touch access when used with the EL2000 and an RF module. This option will allow programming for operation of any Chamberlain Security+ product. As added security features, an optional black and white or color CCTV camera is also available.
