Chamberlain introduces the LiftMaster® Models 3240 and 3130 Screw Drive garage door openers. These new and improved Screw Drive openers will replace models 3220 and 3110.

The 3240 and the 3130 feature a new one-piece steel rail for optimal performance in both hot and cold environments. This new, innovative design reduces friction and eliminates binding by using a new, unenclosed, no-lube drive system when temperatures are warmer. An electronic thermistor automatically adjusts and increases the opener force as weather becomes colder, ensuring optimal performance. The steel screw is supported by plastic support inserts that assists in preventing binding.

The 3240, part of the Premium Series line of LiftMaster garage door openers, features a 1/2 HP motor and includes the exclusive Motor Vibration Isolation System (MVIS®) for quiet operation. It comes with a Multi-Function Control Panel and a Security+® 3-Button Remote Control. In addition, the sleek new design includes dual-lens light covers with bright, 200-watt lighting to fully illuminate the garage.

The 3130 features a 1/3 HP motor and also includes the MVIS. Accessories included with the 3130 are a Security+® 1-Button Remote Control and a lighted door control button.

The addition of wire clips and pre-drilled holes on the rail make IR sensor wiring easy and reduces installation time. Both models are UL325 approved and feature Quick-Connect™ terminals for faster installation and the exclusive PosiLock® electronic locking system. The 3240 has a lifetime motor warranty while the 3130 has a two year motor warranty.
