The Chamberlain Group, Inc. has promoted Rich Nolda to Director of Field Sales, Chamberlain Professional Products. The announcement, which is effective immediately, was made by Bob Markwart, executive vice president, Chamberlain Professional Products.

In his new position, Nolda will be responsible for monitoring important changes and trends affecting Chamberlain’s ever-growing customer base. In addition, Nolda will continue to oversee the North American professional products sales force. He will report to Ron Halley, vice president of sales, Chamberlain Professional Products.

“Rich brings a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience and integrity to this position,” Halley said.    “We’re confident that his commitment to personal customer interaction and active industry involvement will keep Chamberlain’s customer relationships strong for years to come.”

For the past five years, Nolda served as Chamberlain Professional Products’ national sales manager. During that time he helped lead the professional products sales teams’ impressive growth rate. Nolda also played a vital role in Chamberlain’s addition of three new product lines, and the smooth assimilation of six acquisitions.

During his 23-year career with Chamberlain, Nolda has held several other key positions. Starting as a sales coordinator, he worked his way up to sales coordinator supervisor, national accounts coordinator, regional sales manager, national accounts manager, and national sales manager. Over the years, Nolda earned many awards for outstanding achievement in sales.

Nolda is also a leader within Chamberlain’s industry. He currently holds a seat on the International Door Association’s (IDA) board of directors. Nolda is an active member of IDA’s internal exposition committee, heritage and nominating committee, and membership committee.

Nolda earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska. He also holds a master’s in business from Southern Illinois University.
